Sprung Formal 20 Website

For the 20th issue of Sprung Formal, I designed and built the Archive and Purchase pages of the website using Squarespace. My role focused on crafting a user-friendly, visually cohesive platform that honors the magazine’s legacy while providing accessible ways to explore and purchase past and current issues. Sprung Formal 20 centers on the dinner party as a space for layered, emotional gathering—from joy and laughter to introspection and solitude—I translated this tone into the digital experience. The site echoes the issue’s spirit: multiple energies coexisting, stories unfolding, and space made for every voice at the table. Collaborating with students from the Liberal Arts and Graphic Design departments at the Kansas City Art Institute, I helped carry forward the publication’s tradition of thoughtful, student-led production.
